Terms of Service
Last updated: November 2, 2026
These terms cover your use of Billfinch, the website at billfinch.app,
the web app at my.billfinch.app and the Billfinch mobile apps. By using
Billfinch you agree to them.
The service
Billfinch helps businesses schedule sessions, take bookings, and keep
track of packages, invoices and payments, with apps for the business,
the families it teaches, and its teachers.
Payments
- Card payments are processed by Stripe on the business's own Stripe
account and are subject to
Stripe's terms. Billfinch does
not hold, move or refund money; payments go directly to the
business.
- When a family saves a card, they authorize that business to charge
it for booked sessions, packages, invoices and fees under the
business's cancellation policy — and, if they turn on auto-pay, for
each session after it happens. Families can turn auto-pay off at any
time in the app.
- Prices, packages, cancellation policies and refunds are between the
business and its families. Questions about a charge go to the
business first.
- Payments recorded by hand (Zelle, Venmo, Apple Cash, cash and so on) happen
outside Billfinch.
Your account and your data
- You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in
secure. Invite links give access to a family's or teacher's view of
a business — share them only with that person.
- You own the data you put into Billfinch. You give us permission to
store and process it only to provide the service to you.
- You are responsible for having the right to enter your clients'
information, and for the invoices you send.
- Check invoices before you send them. Billfinch calculates amounts
from the rates, sessions and packages you enter, and you remain
responsible for what you bill.
Acceptable use
Don't use Billfinch for anything unlawful, to send spam, or to try to
access other people's data or disrupt the service.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Billfinch running and your data safe, but the service
is provided "as is", without warranties, and may change or occasionally
be unavailable. We may update these terms; if a change is material,
we'll update the date above.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Billfinch is not liable for indirect or
consequential losses, or for amounts billed or not billed through the
service.
Ending
You can stop using Billfinch at any time and ask us to delete your
data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend
accounts that break these terms.
